Biography
Hon. Linda Dorcena Forry is a trailblazing leader in business, government, and philanthropy, with over 20 years of experience in the public sector, including 13 years as a State Senator and State Representative. A native Bostonian and first-generation Haitian-American, she made history as the first woman and person of color elected to the Massachusetts Senate's First Suffolk district. Linda is principal of a consultancy firm specializing in real estate, community relations, and DEI strategy. She serves on the corporate board of Eversource Energy and previously held senior roles at Suffolk Construction. As Co-publisher of The Reporter Newspapers which includes Dorchester Reporter, Boston Haitian Reporter and Boston Irish Magazine, Linda drives business development strategy for the award-winning newspaper. Linda is also one of the founders of the New Commonwealth Racial Equity and Social Justice Fund and serves on a variety of local and regional nonprofit boards. She holds an MPA from Harvard University and a BS from Boston College. Linda resides in Dorchester with her husband, Bill, and their four children.
