At Fidelity Investments, Eldene played a pivotal role in shaping the company’s India strategy, overseeing the creation of Fidelity India—an offshore development center that grew to more than 100 team members and laid the foundation for long-term operational success. She later led Fidelity’s largest IT transformation program, a $300M enterprise-wide modernization that streamlined systems, enhanced customer experience, and delivered significant cost efficiencies. At Optum Financial, her strategic leadership enabled the launch of new revenue streams valued at over $500M annually.
Transitioning her expertise into hospitality, Eldene founded and developed Meco Hotels, bringing a bold and disruptive vision to the Boston hotel market. She has also completed multiple real estate and hospitality projects, including The Mayer Hotels in Bangalore, Palm Vistas gated community in India, and several high-end residential developments in Lexington, Massachusetts.
Eldene holds an MBA from Babson College and a BA in International Relations from Boston University, and she has completed executive programs at MIT Sloan School of Management and Cornell University. She is also a Project Management Professional (PMP) and Lean Six Sigma Green Belt, underscoring her commitment to operational excellence and innovation.
She currently serves on several boards, including that of the AI startup Coworked.
